Abstract

The impact of acculturation on leadership style is an important topic for the global community. A quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive-correlational design using primary retrospective data was employed in this study. The objective of the study was to see if gender, education, income, primary language spoken at home, level of Afghan acculturation, and level of American acculturation predict task- and relationship-oriented leadership styles. Respondents were Afghan American adults currently working in the U.S. Health System as registered nurses with one or both parents originally from Afghanistan, N = 171 participants. The results showed that levels of task-oriented leadership correspond to the span of control (number of subordinates overseen) directly. The more subordinates, the greater the tendencies toward task-oriented leadership. The fewer subordinates, the lower the tendencies toward task-oriented leadership. None of the other variables contributed significantly to predicting task-oriented leadership. Due to the constant changing nursing field, diverse workforce, and high demand for healthcare administrators, nursing curriculum should emphasize the importance of leadership skills. Implications, limitations, and directions for future research are discussed.

Abstract

Cultural capital is both a tangible and an intangible asset and is the collective wisdom of employees across lines of business in the organization and its impact on society. It is not just a task that is approved monthly or quarterly and closed after annual performance measurement. Unlike financial capital, cultural capital, economic capital, regulatory capital, and liquidity capital cannot be measured by financial numbers, income, or net worth. Cultural capital, on the other hand, deals with human capital, which includes behavioral aspects, skills and knowledge of employees to product and design life cycle methods, revenue and growth forecasting models, which are run against large populations of data. This research was conducted with the aim of studying and standardizing the cultural capital management questionnaire of school principals of Pars Abad city based on the standardized cultural capital management questionnaire of Mamizadeh Aranchi and vazifeh Demirchi (2019) by simple random sampling among 325 statistical samples. The findings of the research indicate that the cultural capital management model of managers has the necessary validity and reliability.

Abstract

This paper examined the effects of leadership on violent conflicts in Africa. Over the years Africa has been affected negatively by violent conflicts, this partly explains why Africa is still regarded as a developing continent. Violent conflicts have led to the destruction of lives and properties in many parts of Africa. Many internally displaced camps in various countries occasioned by violent conflicts no doubt have affected negatively the socio-economic and political life of the affected countries. Governments of such countries have wasted billions of their various countries’ currencies which are supposed to be used for development projects and programmes in trying to combat violent conflicts and also take care of internally displaced persons. This paper is qualitative in nature because data for it were derived from secondary sources such as text book, journals, magazines and newspapers. The data analysis methods adopted in this paper are descriptive and historical. The theoretical framework for this paper is the frustration-aggression theory. The paper recommends among others that there should be encouragement of good governance in Africa because it can go a long way in reducing violent conflicts and also promote its development.

The purpose of this study was to provide a suitable model for the professional ethics of dairy products retailers in Parsabad city. The research is a descriptive-analytical and descriptive-analytical method. The statistical population of this research was in the Delphi stage of the authorities responsible for the sale of dairy companies and factories in Parsabad. At first, individuals determined the model based on their inference, and after the elimination of repetitive cases, 58 types of indicators remained. Atlast, 58 remaining indicators, the indicators with a weak and average importance were removed and finally, 52 indicators remained in the analysis. The final optimum model of professional ethics for dairy wholesalers was confirmed by the elite opinion of 52 indicators. According to the research findings, according to the research findings, the "Matching Priorities with Values" Index with an average of 4.87 in the first place and the "Avoiding Personal Use of Company Information" index with an average of 2.52 in the rank of fifty-second.

Abstract

The purpose of this study; was studying of hierarchical analysis of the supply chain optimal model in Iranian government agencies. After reviewing the research background as well as interviewing the experts, the four main components; Individual factors, organizational factors, supply chain process and rules and regulations for research modeling were identified. In this study, using Delphi technique, the criteria were classified as sub-criteria of the study. Then, using structural equations, the relationship between components and sub-components with each other and also their impact on the supply chain in government agencies were evaluated. Finally, different models were investigated using system identification dynamics. The results of estimating structural equations showed that organizational factors with a coefficient of 0.901 have the greatest effect on the supply chain. Other results also showed that the rules and regulations and the supply chain process have a significant effect on the supply chain, while individual factors do not have a significant effect on the supply chain. The results of evaluating the score model using the AHP method showed that reliability with a score of 0.301 has the highest score among other components. Measures of supply chain agility with 0.226, supply chain costs with 0.191, supply chain asset management with 0.180 and supply chain accountability with a score of 0.102 are in the next priorities. In the section on system identification dynamics, dynamic hypotheses, causal relationships, and flow-state were also examined.

Abstract

within the past few years we have seen an increase in direct foreign investment flow to Islamic countries. However, FDI flow to Islamic countries is scant with respect to other spots of the world. The reasons for this include widespread culture, red tail in regulations and civil wars in Islamic countries. Thus, this study aims to identify factors which affect FDI flows to Islamic countries with emphasis on marketing culture. Data belong to the time period 2006-2014. After investigation of reliability of the constructs and determination of an appropriate model, we used panel data method for estimation of model. The results of this research showed that customer orientation degree, buyer sophistication and tax rate have positive impacts and variables like source of knowledge, efficiency of labor, market size and inflation rate have negative impacts on FDI flows to Islamic countries.

Abstract

the present study is applied in terms of purpose and correlation in terms of implementation. The statistical population of study consists of the employees at Asr Telecommunication and Information Technology Company, which according to the information obtained from the recruitment of the central organization is 300 employees. The number of samples according to Morgan table is equal to 169 people. To determine the content validity, the questionnaires were presented to three experienced professors and experts in the field of management to review the content. In this study, Cronbach's alpha method was used to determine the reliability of the test. To analyze the data, the normality of the data distribution is tested using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. If it is normal, Pearson correlation coefficient has been used to analyze the hypotheses. The relative importance method is also used to explain the role of variables in the dependent variable. The research findings show that the components of multifactorial leadership explain 15.6% of technology acceptance, in which the transformational leadership dimension has the highest relative weight and the exchange leadership dimension has the lowest relative weight. Also, conversion leadership with 62.82 percent and exchange leadership with 37.17 percent have a weight share in the impact on technology acceptance. Therefore, the research hypothesis that the relative weight of multidimensional leadership dimensions in the impact on technology acceptance is not the same was confirmed.
